Daniel T. Salazar is the founder of Shooter's Narrative, a basketball company that helps players at all levels develop a neutral, closed loop conversation with themselves while shooting the basketball.  Shooting is by far the most important skill in the game of basketball, after all, it is the only way to score points.   Salazar is deeply passionate about helping others think the correct way in order to get buckets by focusing on programming and systemizing their thoughts to shoot to make instead of shooting to not miss.

Salazar holds a bachelor's degree in Movement Science from Westfield State University as well as a master's degree in the Science of Organizational Leadership from Nichols College.

 

As a two-time state champion high school coach at Cambridge Rindge & Latin and North Cambridge Catholic and successful collegiate coach at both Assumption College and Nichols College, Salazar has amassed the knowledge of how the greatest shooters on the planet separate themselves from everyone else.  Now for the first time he is sharing his vast knowledge with the world.

The book, A Shooter's Narrative, delves into the mind of the greatest shooters of all time by asking The Billion Dollar Question, "what do the greats think about while they are shooting the basketball?"  Through scientific studies and his own personal experience Salazar is obsessively curious about finding The Billion Dollar Answer so he can share it with the world.

The podcast, The Shooter's Narrative, features interviews with some of the world's greatest shooters, diving further into the mental game of shooting the basketball and how we must think in order to make shots.
